Merchant Monday’s: Stella’s Coffee Haus
Posted on May 9, 2022
Happy Merchant Monday! Today we’re featuring Stella’s Coffee Haus, located at 1476 S Pearl St. Stella’s Coffee is a coffee oasis in the city, tucked into our quiet and vibrant community.
Stella’s has been serving up everything from lattes and teas to matcha and treats since 1991. As one of the oldest businesses on the street, Stella’s has created a huge community, with regulars lined up out the door every morning. Original owner, Stan Geels, created this space for people to work in peace and relax with co-workers and friends. From 7am to 10pm every day you can find their many rooms and patios filled with people hard at work on laptops, reading books, and catching up with old friends.
The support of the local neighborhood has helped create what Stella’s is today, and they have put that right back into the community. Their store is full of products from small businesses and artists in Denver. From brewing Pablo’s Coffee beans, to serving pastries and treats made by local bakeries, there is a huge emphasis on supporting the Denver Community. You can also browse the walls featuring works from local artists of all mediums!
Manager Ashley Bowen has an incredible passion for coffee! Born and raised in Colorado, Ashley is dedicated to keeping Stan’s wishes and legacy alive; creating a perfect environment for people to work and enjoy.
The incredibly friendly, energetic, and creative baristas are constantly creating a rotating selection of specials, so there’s always something new to try no matter how long you’ve been going. Keep an eye out for their brand new coffee cart at the South Pearl St. farmers market every Sunday from 9am to 1pm!
