Merchant Mondays: Ruby’s Market
Happy Monday! Today we’re featuring Michelle at Ruby’s Market located at 1569 S Pearl St, Denver, CO 80210. Ruby’s Market is a multi-cultural artisan and food destination, incubating refugee, immigrant & indigenous entrepreneurs and supporting local businesses.
Ruby’s Market was created with the sole intention of serving our local community and has grown into much more. Michelle and a group of dedicated individuals started Ruby’s Pantry out of our garage to collect emergency supplies (shelf-stable food, toiletries, and cleaning products) for refugee families.
They have since created Ruby’s Market Box as an online ordering collective to highlight fresh + innovative food, farmer’s market vendors, and our global chefs. This is a community service that enables customers to support local businesses while enjoying a contactless alley-side pickup.
Ruby’s Market was founded by Michelle Lasnier, a passionate refugee advocate, event planner, and world traveler. The name “Ruby’s” refers to the birthstone of Michelle’s Grandmother (Ava or VaVa in Portuguese) who was an immigrant, go-getter, and the person Michelle went to first with all of her wild ideas.
The products available at Ruby’s Market are truly special. With many one-of-a-kind, handmade, and ethically sourced options, Ruby’s has something for anyone and everyone looking to support small businesses and their local community.
