Merchant Monday’s: Second Star To The Right

Happy Monday! Today’s #MerchantMonday, and the last one of the season, is Second Star to the Right! 

Originally opening 8 years ago, they have been offering a personal, magical experience to help customers discover exactly what they are looking for. 

Their mission is to help kids discover themselves through creativity and imagination, by finding story characters they can relate to and celebrate.

They also offer free books to community members through their “Gay It Forward” program. 

Members of the community are encouraged to purchase books that can be given away to LGBTQ+ youth, or anyone, who would otherwise not have access to them. The books in this program feature LGBTQ+ characters, or are written by authors that identify as such. 

Anyone is welcome to take a book, no questions, no judgements, just friendly staff. They also provide a safe, cozy space inside the store for you to read these books!
